Congratulations to Sarah Medeiros, the 2024 recipient of the Christopher Corbett’93 Scholarship. While attending Holy Cross High School, Sarah was a member of the National Honor Society and captain of the varsity volleyball team. She was an active volunteer in her school community. Sarah will attend Framingham State University in the fall to pursue a major in criminology with the goal of becoming a district attorney or prosecutor.

The Class of 1974 celebrated a milestone reunion over the weekend. It started on Saturday night at the Mattatuck Museum and continued on Sunday at Holy Cross. Fifty years later and the class is still going strong!! We are so fortunate to have an amazing alumni base!

The Holy Cross High School community said goodbye to a wonderful teacher, colleague and friend, Thelma Stepan who passed away on Friday, May 17. Ms. Stepan began her time at Holy Cross in September 1983 and retired after the 2002-2003 school year after 20 years of service. She was a member of our Science department. She was also club moderator for S.A.F.E. and the house manager of the Holy Cross student theater. We send our heartfelt condolences and prayers to her family and friends.
For the second year in a row, Summer Austin ‘25 was honored at Donor Life Connecticut’s 34th Annual Erica Grossman Visual Arts Contest Awards Ceremony at the Hartford State Capitol. She was recognized for her award-winning poster to promote organ donation. Congratulations on this wonderful achievement, Summer!

Today was the last class for Senior Statistics. Mr. Bergamo hosted a Casino Day for the students where they looked at 4 different casino style games and found the probability of winning and losing each game. They then played each game to see how the probabilities actually acted. 💚♦️♠️♣️
